MemberI’ve seen my dog drink her pee twice(last night and this morning). Does anyone know why she’s doing this? I give her water at mealtimes and whenever she asks for it. So I’m assuming she’s not dehydrated.

MemberI’m going to give her a couple days. If it continues to be a problem, I’m going to take her to the vet D:.

InactiveI’m curious, how does your dog “ask for water”? Dogs should have plenty of clean, pure water available at all times, not just at mealtimes. She may well be dehydrated. But yes, please take her to the vet.

MemberI’m really late reading this but how old is your dog? I had a foxhound suffering from canine cognitive dysfunction and this is something she did. I hope she’s gone to the vets.
