MemberHello,
My wife and I would love some help. We have a 7 year old pure bred Crocker Spaniel we rescued at 8 months old. We have been trying all this time to find food that will firm her stool. We have tried LID foods, probiotics, pumpkin, higher fiber foods, and mixing. In the end, nothing seems to be working. We would really value any suggestions? The vets have tested her stool and the result come back fine. Thank you!

MemberI had the same issue with my dog. I did an elimination diet and kept a journal. The vet wanted me to put her on a prescription food that was really expensive ($35 for 8 lb bag). I figured out that she has a chicken sensitivity. Which is very common in dogs. My dog spent the first 4 months with me with constant diarrhea and she finally has for the past 3 weeks a normal stool. Roxy is a Lab mix we rescued. We also had her stool checked numerous times with negative results. Hope that helps.
