MemberGot home and English Setter had found and eaten at least 12 Oma’s freeze dried disks of rabbit, green tripe, chicken blend, beef blend.
Called my rural vet and was told don’t feed him anything for 24 hours.
Any comments or thoughts on what I should do for him?? I don’t know if I should give him water or not…He seems ok and it happened in the last 3 hours. Was home for lunch.anonymously
MemberYes, I would have fresh water available, and take him for a bathroom break frequently.
He might get the runs (diarrhea) or vomit due to nausea. Keep an eye open for GI upset, abdominal pain, bloat…PS: I am not a veterinarian, so maybe you should check with a vet to be sure.
