Krista M
MemberLooking for a good quality canned food without the above ingredients. Have a dog with heart failure but need him to actually want to eat the food while still giving him a quality product. Thank you in advance.

ParticipantHi Krista-
Canned stew foods do not typically have careageenan since it is a thickener. I think all dog food is required to have some salt.I feed Nature’s Domain, 4Health and Wellness stews to mine. But, not sure of salt content. What did your vet recommend? Hope you find something that works for your dog. Good luck!
