MemberHow is it possible to determine the calories in dog food? I am working on trying to get my Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) to lose some weight. We are measuring her food and limiting her intake, but I would like to get her on a lower calorie, high protein, and low carb food. It is easy to see the fat and protein content, but I do not see calories listed on the dog food labels. Any suggestions?

ParticipantCheck out the Weight Management EVO and Wellness CORE Reduced Fat. Those are the only two that I can think of that fit what you’re looking for.

ParticipantI found with alot of the weight management kibbles the fiber will be higher, I dont know if that will be a problem for ur girl..I suppose its what are they using as a fiber filler that makes them feel fuller..
