Murphysmom, my English Setter puppy had loose stools on Wellness Core Puppy also. I mixed in pumpkin, yogurt, prebiotics to no effect. I really wanted to love Wellness Core but it just didn’t work for Annie. We ended up switching her to Nutrisource Large Breed Puppy. It is not grain-free (chicken & rice, the packaging still says corn gluten but it has actually been removed and any bag with an expiration date after Nov 2014 does not have it in it. The manufacturer legally has 6 months to update the packaging). Anyway, it is cheaper than Wellness and she is doing well on it in terms of stool consistency. Lots of other options out there, but just wanted to share with you what worked for us.
