Anonymous, I have a regular veterinarian who I work well with. I also have a history in vet med as a technician. I appreciate the recommendation to go to the internist but I’m comfortable with my route. His vet is quite competent and is also quite comfortable sending me to an internist when she feels it’s warranted. He, very likely, came to me with a kidney issue as he’s always had symptoms. He’s had multiple tests at his general practitioner including blood work, urine and an ultrasound of his kidney’s. Lyme? This was not an issue as he has no other symptoms that would point to that. I went to my holistic vet to get an additional opinion to work in conjunction with my vet not in opposition to. I feel the utmost trust in his veterinarians.

Katyand jewel, thank you so much for the well wishes! No, she hasn’t. We don’t have hard water where we’re from. It’s actually ok. I appreciate your response though 🙂
