Unless your dog has been seen and diagnosed by a board-certified dermatologist, you have no idea what is causing the skin condition.
His problems may have absolutely nothing to do with his diet.

For example: “Sebaceous adenitis (SA) is a relatively uncommon, immune-mediated dermatosis causing a crusting cornification abnormality, which in turn can lead to progressing alopecia with tightly adherent scales and crusts (see Figure 1)”
