Reply To: 11 Year Old Pomeranian With Pancreatitis
Im sorry hearing stories like that breaks my heart 🙁
With Nemo he has had thyroid issues for years, we never even knew it til he had a blood test done, never showed any symptoms it was just a routine blood test and it showed it so he has been taking pills for years and every 3 months he goes in for a blood test to see if its normal..I just hope his pancreas can fully recover..we dont know what caused the original problem over a month ago, he would wake up in the morning not wanting to eat, he would either get a Flagyl or a Pepsid and he would eventually eat..so that is why the Vet suggested a Probiotic which did not work on him..I read all these different things online that can help dogs with their digestion, etc, unfortunately for Nemo, 99 percent of what works just fine and dandy with other dogs doesnt work for him, it makes him sick
