Hi Mary M.,
I’ve fed my Terrier “Small Batch” for a year and a half and it is wonderful food! Excellent nutrition and highly digestible; you’ll notice less poop. My dog is five years old. She lost weight and has consistent, joyful energy. Her favorites are the beef and the chicken.
The store owner recommended putting two days worth of the patties in the refrigerator. When feeding, warm filtered water in your tea kettle and pour some over the patties. The owner & her husband (who handles Police dogs) said it is better on your dog, who has a normal temperature in excess of 100°, to feed food that is not chilled to refrigerator temperatures. After breaking up the patties with a spoon and stirring them in the warm to hot water, I add Primal brand Goat’s Milk, so she has a marvelously smelling soup. If you forget to thaw the patties ahead of time, just put a serving in a zip lock bag and place in a bowl of hot water. They thaw in just a few minutes.
It is a blessing to have food you can trust to feed to your animals!!
