Shoot, that’s too bad, it has been helpful for us. Except when my mom is attempting to leave and can’t quit talking and stands with it open while I cringe and try not to be rude! My mother is probably about the same age as your grandma. I believe you are about the same age as my two (human) boys. They are 24 and 20. If the cats do get out, they get scared and dart under a vehicle and we have to get out the laser light for them to chase back into the house! It doesn’t happen very often. But, it makes me crazy when it does! They are not outdoor savvy at all.
