I’ve run in to similar situations at the dog park. I’ve given up trying to educate people. In your case I think it’s more difficult because it’s a family situation. Try and remember the dogs aren’t the most important thing. Sometimes it’s best to keep them separate or leave them home just to keep the peace. Not everyone thinks like we do!
