Hmm. Probably not a hot spot then, if the skin looks clear. I’m suppressed he hasn’t irritated it with all the chewing. I would recommend continuing to put the oils on, if that seems to help him. I guess it could also be caused by dry skin from the cold weather. It probably wouldn’t hurt to have the vet check it out, or at least call them about it. Hopefully the more experienced users will have more advice. 🙂
