In my experience, that’s about how it works. Totally freaked out cats don’t seem to notice, but hunkered down or hiding, mildly anxious cats seem to respond faster. Oh, and it doesn’t work if it isn’t actually in the room with the cat. I knew someone that wanted to try the Feliway, and they had a convenient place to put it in the family room. The problem was that the family room was the room the cat never went into, so it didn’t work.
