Yes, jakes mom, the vet did mention that surgery. I hope we don’t have to make that decision. But, I know it is a possibility. It’s probably very expensive. Did you feed your cat the prescription food and he still ended up getting blocked? I’m struggling with paying so much for food with mediocre ingredients. But, I sure don’t want this to happen again. The vets seem to swear by it though. Plus, I’ve been feeding to my other cats as well because it’s just easier unless I find a way to separate them at feeding time. This has been stressful and expensive. We were hoping to get new furniture, not pay big vet bills. Lol! Thanks for the well wishes!
