I recently figured out that flax was a problem for my sensitive boy also. He ends up with loose stool from foods that contain it, although he does get two small treats daily that have ground flax seed as the sixth ingredient (Nature’s Variety Instinct Limited Ingredient Treats); apparently, it’s not enough to cause problems for him, but I do avoid foods that contain flax. He can’t do chickpeas or lentils either, but those cause gas, followed by loose stool – I have to avoid those for him completely.
