I’m sorry to hear about your pup’s hip dysplasia diagnosis. I have two lab mix pups who just turned three. It is a concern for me as well. I kind of thought we were over the hump as they haven’t shown any signs of it yet. But, yours wasn’t diagnosed until 4 years old? I took a look at the Hills JD food you mentioned above. The first ingredient is whole grain corn. I’m no expert by any means, but that doesn’t sound right! You definitely want to feed him a low inflammatory type food and keep his weight down.
