I don’t worry about feeding a little fish. I rotate through the different proteins I can find in canned food and when the fish rotation comes around, I feed fish. Since it is less than twice a week, I feel like I’m doing pretty good. If you can, go for sardine or herring. The smaller fish are more likely to have a lot less comtamination.
