I do personally believe dogs would need an amount of fiber. Agreed with Patty- hair (or feathers) would act like fiber in a wild canine’s diet. Also, I’d tend to think that a canine would consume the prey’s stomach, and therefore would get any fibrous vegetation from inside.
It definitely is WAY easier to get too much fiber vs too little, as almost all kibble is plant-based
