Glad everything is well! Don’t ask me for name ideas because I just realized after reading what you just posted all my pets except one have human names, it was not intentional.
Your Vet gave you great instructions for his H2O care, using stainless steel bowls, changing it out etc. Try giving the running faucet thing a whirl if your comfortable with it; maybe you won’t need a pet fountain!
Keeping his litter, the box, and the scooper clean will help also.
I think your feeding plan sounds fine! You know what to look for in a pet food, feeding canned will help him stay healthy, he has a good home to live in (with toys), Vet care, what more could he ask for?
