Those sound like great toys to wear out a playful kitty. At one time I had a short legged JRT and two kittens (a brother and sister) all 8 weeks old. I would never do that again in a million years. I had an early morning job excercising racehorses and worked in a restaurant at night. 8 hours of sleep was never in the cards for me. The only thing that worked for me was to keep those kitties up no matter what when I was home until I was ready to sleep. If I didn’t, those three kept me up all night long playing. My female kitten loved to attack stuffed animals so I always had a couple out for her to wrestle with. I also got an old carpet remnant from a carpet store and rubbed catnip all over it. The cats would use it for scratching and also run and jump on it to slide across the floor. Their other favorite toy, JRT included, was a plain old brown paper bag. They would jump on it and smash it up, then try to figure out how to get into it when it was all crumpled up. Kitties are crazy!
