I have two male cats and their pee doesn’t smell strong nor is there any blood in it. You are right it sounds like a UTI. I hope you are able to get him to the vet ASAP. It’s a huge responsibility taking on another pet. I’m not sure we are always ready for it. (Including myself). I think this cat sounds pretty well behaved for a stray. It will just take him some time to learn the rules. He hasn’t had any for a while. Good luck to you, Akari.
