I would listen to your vet. Science Diet is a good company that puts a lot of research into their diets. I have a couple of pets on Rx food and it is keeping them very healthy.
You sure are adding a lot of extras to the diet. You may want to stick to the Farmina without the extras. It is hopefully formulated to be complete and balanced.
Maybe try an internal medicine specialist if you don’t have a good feeling about your vet.
