I’ve had the same problem: shortage of vetmedin. I contacted my dog Sparky’s cardiac vet. They are going to submit a prescription to a compounding pharmacy (either Wedgewood Pharmacy or Stokes Pharmacy). With the shortage, the compounding pharmacy can prepare the prescription; it will probably be more costly but if you are desperate, this may be the best short-term solution. Hopefully, the manufacturer will soon solve the problem. Good luck. I’ll let everyone know how well thia works.
