I understand completely. I’ve actually been dealing with this as well. I joined a bunch of raw food groups on Facebook to see if I could try it…don’t think I’m ready for that. So theb I joined some home cooked ones. Are you on Facebook? The groups I’m in are run by people who have done extensive research and can give you the tools needed to balance the food out. The total amount of food in a day would be 2.5-3% of your dogs ideal weight. That’ll tell you how many pounds they would need a day. I’ve slowly started adding more and more home cooked foods to Luna’s kibble, with the hopes to one day do half and half or fully home cooked. If you are on Facebook, I can recommend the group’s I’m in to you, they have starter files with tons of info, and then people ask questions for help for their personal pups.
