It’s like with people, when they are sick all they can eat are one or two things that are bland and that agree with them (ginger ale, saltine crackers, chicken soup).
Just the thought of canned pumpkin makes me want to gag.
Just saying, sometimes less is more. See what your vet advises.
Ps: Another food change is the last thing I would do right now. Wait till she is stable.
Try to use the prescription food, at least as a base with a topper (canned food) and water added.
