Your question is irrelevant. Whatever my vet recommends or does not recommend for my dogs, has nothing to do with the dog in question and it’s specific needs.
Find a vet that you trust, go for routine exams, ask questions. Every dog is different. 🙂
Ps: If the dog has a skin condition, make an appointment with a veterinary dermatologist for the best results, regarding testing, diagnosis and treatment.
I am assuming that the regular vet has not been helpful within a reasonable amount of time.
Explore treatment options with your regular vet if the symptoms are not severe.
