Background
After working as an associate veterinarian, Dr. Beal joined Bradford School in Columbus, Ohio, as director of its veterinary technician program, building it from the ground up. She brought roughly 20 years of teaching experience to her work, including 15 years as program director at Bradford School and time as an educator with the Rachael Ray Foundation‘s Pathways to Careers in Animal Health program. She also teaches a veterinary assistant course at her local humane society.
In 2018, she joined Rumpus Writing and Editing, a veterinary-specific copywriting agency, where she now serves as chief operating officer. Rumpus Writing’s clients include veterinary practices and industry partners such as marketing companies, national corporations, consultants, and international businesses.
Publications & Contributions Dr. Beal has contributed to publications including Today’s Veterinary Business, MarketWatch, IDEXX publications, and the North American Veterinary Community. She also contributed to the 9th and 10th editions of McCurnin’s Clinical Textbook for Veterinary Technicians and Nurses, a widely used veterinary technician education resource.
