Merrick Dog Treats Recall 2010

Merrick dog treats may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria according the the United States Food and Drug Administration.

On January 14, 2010, the FDA issued a warning to consumers not to use Merrick Beef Filet Squares distributed by Merrick Pet Care of Amarillo, Texas and marked with a “Best by 111911” package date.

The suspect product was distributed nationwide through both local and Internet retailers.
