October 13 2023 — Carolina Prime Pet Inc. has voluntarily recalled five varieties of its jerky products, distributed to Hollywood Feed, due to potential Salmonella contamination.
What caused the recall?
The recall was initiated by customer, Hollywood Feed, reporting Salmonella contamination in the affected jerky products.
There have been no confirmed illnesses linked to the ingestion of one of the products in question as they were recalled before being sold to customers.
No other Carolina Prime Pet Inc. products are impacted by this recall.
