August 21, 2026 — Fromm Family Foods issued a voluntary recall of 3,852 Turkey Pâté and 1,973 Diner Classic Milo’s Meatloaf wet dog foods over potential metal contamination.
The recalled products were sold through local pet stores and online retailers in the United States and Canada as follows:

To date, there have been no reports of illness or injury related to the recalled products. No other lots or products are included in this recall.
In addition to its existing food safety measures, Fromm Family Foods LLC says they have implemented additional corrective actions to help prevent this issue from occurring again.
What to do
Consumers who purchased the affected products should stop feeding them to their dog(s) immediately and return them to the place of purchase. For questions, contact Fromm Family Foods at 1-800-325-6331 or [email protected]
Dogs that ingest metal may experience symptoms such as choking, vomiting, loss of appetite, lethargy, or abdominal discomfort. Depending on the size and shape of the metal, ingestion can also cause injuries to the mouth or gastrointestinal tract. In more serious cases, consuming larger amounts may result in gastrointestinal upset, partial or complete intestinal blockage, or other complications.
If your dog has eaten any of the recalled products and is showing signs of illness, contact your veterinarian promptly for guidance.
Reporting Pet Food Problems
The FDA encourages consumers to report complaints about pet food products electronically through the Safety Reporting Portal. Consumers may also visit the SmartHub – Safety Intake Portal – Report a Product Problem for electronic assistance with submitting a report.
Canadians can report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
