Erika BMember
You can feed less of it and my pup has been having a slow steady lean growth weight… but it’s up to you and your preference.
Erika BMemberI have a cane Corso and I had switched him 4 times before u found the right food. I also had him on fromm and it didn’t work out. So I switched him to Acana pacifica all life stages, it’s fish based but the first 5 ingredients is meat. Check it out and their other products. He might have been allergic to chicken, but all I know it’s been working, his stools went from losely soft to nice and firm. Also, look into earthborne, they also have a bag that has few meats listed before getting into the rest of the ingredients.
Erika BMemberYou can look up what’s in royal canine, most people (not vets) don’t recommend it. Compare the ingredients in it to other foods and you’ll notice why.
Erika BMemberIt’s up to you, all vets recommend science diet and royal canine. I don’t always listen to doctors and vets because they’ve proven wrong multiple of times for me personally.
Erika BMemberOh and by the way all life stages Acana food (like pacifica) are large kibble.
Erika BMemberNo problem! Fromm meets close the 1:1 ratio with all there foods, it’s a good high quality brand, it was unfortunately my pup didn’t do well on it. However, Acan Pacifica meets the 1:3:1 ratio. I only got acana Pacifica because it’s all life stages and I have a mastiff, cane corso, and on their page everyone recommended TOTW or ACANA and earthborn to meet the calcium and phosphate needs, as well as giving them steady growth, since their large breed. If your looking for adult food, majority of adult food has even a less calcium and phosphate. I was researching like crazy to find a good food and when I did, it just didn’t work out, so don’t be too stressed out like I was. Victor, candaie, and I believe nutro also meet the ratios.
Erika BMemberRoger/Ashdad – Try Fromm (beef flavor and grain free) their fromm gold has chicken in it and my dog, had soft stools, your dog might do good on beef. I just started mixing Acana Pacifica and it’s already improving on his stools, it’s all fish based. Or you could try Earthborn.

Also, that the food has undergone feeding trials but their not always conclusive.
