    Hi, we got our first 2 rescues in 2006, and they started doing a lot of scratching after a few weeks, one of them developing a hot spot. After doing some research on possible food allergies we switched them to Wellness grain free dry & canned recipes and it stopped their itching immediately. We’ve fed all our dogs Wellness exclusively ever since.

    Patricia thanks, I have read suggestions of freeze dried for dogs with no teeth but can’t imagine how it would work — isn’t it meat pieces? She literally can’t chew anything. We used to mix her wet food with crushed kibble soaked in water, until we realized she did better with just the wet food. If I crushed the freeze dried into tiny granules and soak it in water, would it really be soft enough?
