Today was a good day so far… no vomiting yet today and the day is almost over. I’m not sure what the problem has been but she seems to be better today, full of energy and playing in full force in between naps, and like I said no vomiting. She is sleeping sound as I write this and has slept off and on all day but not as much as the past few days. Fingers crossed what ever it was has passed!! Someone from my “small town” said there was a flu going around effecting dogs…??? (like I said “small town”, therefore “small town” talk) 🙂 Anyone heard of this before?

sue66b… there is no certain time frame after eating that she throws up. She does it at random times.

Would flea and tick meds cause this? I applied frontline plus. She seems to be more lazy/sleepy the last couple of days but when she’s up and running around she acts fine.

Has anyone fed Dr. Tims? How was the pups waste (firm/soft), and was it bad smelling?

I wondered the same thing… is all life stages appropriate for my 15 week old puppy?Pattyvaughn, you do feed all life stages to your puppies?

Ok…. which should I choose? Fromm or Dr. Tim’s? I really can’t decide, does any one have an experience with either of those foods?

I’m having trouble deciding on a food! I have read until I’m blue in the face, and I think my mind is about to explode 🙂 I have now narrowed it down to either Fromm or Dr. Tim’s, does any one have an opinion for me on which to choose?

I’m very new at this investigating dog food thing and I do appreciate all opinions and advice. I’ve seen other people make comments about diamond foods but I don’t know what has happened with the company either past or present. Could you please fill me in as to why you do not approve of them?

What is it about 4Health that you are not fond of? I’m not fond of the other two mentioned as well.

Thank you for your advice! Since writing the post yesterday I found another food that I believe is going to be a lot better for her. 4Health… any thoughts on this product? I found it on this website with a 4 star rating. I did purchase some and started transitioning, she seems to like it better than the Blue Buffalo. She is still not finishing all her food but is getting closer to finishing so I think she will take to the 4Health. Also it was nice to find a 4 star food at a VERY reasonable price!! It’s only available at Tractor Supply which is not usually one of my regular stops but if she likes it and I know my wallet will like it, it will be worth the extra stop.
