MemberDepending on the size of your dog, rule of thumb with Home Cooked diet is 1 to 1/2 tsp of either Rapeseed oil/ Canola oil per serving for EFA’s you can also use walnut oil or coconut oil as alternatives. If you would like any information on Home Cooking for your dog I’m a Canine Chef.

MemberSorry I may have missed the thread, are you home cooking your dogs food? Or is he on a commercial diet? Just wondered why you wanted a supplement?

MemberCoconut oil is fantastic & cholesterol free, it has wonderful properties but I find it very expensive. I recommend 1tsp of Rapeseed/Canola oil per serving for EFA’s or Walnut oil 1/2 tsp of the walnut (depending on how large your dog is).
