Thanks so much ,I am trying. But then I had a lapse in judgment and let my Vet talk me into an oral flea and tic pill…NexGard, which gave her terrible diarrhea, took her appetite away and she just acted sick and miserable for 3 days.. Also really bad reviews on line (dangerous side effects) Wow, we really need to educate ourselves to be pro active about what we give our pets! Thanks for your feedback.

Thank-you for your response. The only thing I didn’t like about the Pro Plan she was on is corn being the first ingredients, and corn gluten meal with several other ingredients I want to stay away from. I guess if she likes the WEF better I should give that to her. The calcium content is good for a Large Breed Puppy as well.

My Rotti does better on the Pro Plan…but what about all the corn, corn gluten meal, and animal by-products etc. etc. I hate to feed her these ingredients. Are some of you saying these ingredients aren’t that bad?

I do think I will try that, and yes her stools are o.k. on the pro plan ,but I really want something better. I will go to the 1/4 cup Eagle Pack, 2 1/4 cups Pro Plan and see how that goes. I found a good priced dry food from Merrick, whole earth farms puppy. I will stay with this though for now, maybe I was just rushing the transition. Thanks so much.

Thanks Nadine for your response. I may be transitioning over to the eagle pack too fast, because she has diarrhea now. I am thinking I shouldn’t just give up on the new food yet. She is eating 1 cup Pro Plan and 1 1/2 cups eagle pack, twice a day. Her weight is about 70 lbs. and she seems slightly under weight to me. I bought some rice today and thought maybe I should add that to her food for awhile. Please help, and thank-you so much!
