    Thanks!!

Last night after the vomiting and earlier today, I left out water for him and he kept it down.
Later today, I started to slowly reintroduce his food and so far no more vomiting. I think he is feeling much better because he isn’t vomiting anymore and he is acting like his old self again.

    Update!

Dexter is currently relaxing and I think he is feeling better because he is no longer puking! I took him outside to use restroom and he wanted to play! I will continue to watch him and if things get worse… I will call the Vet in the morning. I also found a Vet hospital that I can call near by for an emergency visit if needed but so far, I don’t think an emergency vet visit is necessary right now. I will update again in a few hours or in the morning.

    What is fasting?

And, he doesn’t appear dehydrated! He’s been drinking water. Right now, he is just laying down and resting! No more puking so far!!

He has puked up his food also! Undigested food! And, he loves his food. It’s the same brand and I have been feeding it to him for a while and never made him sick before. I am thinking the dewormer meds upset his stomach.

I had to cancel his appointment because we are going out of town and I didn’t realize we were leaving so soon! He will have another appointment at the Vet when we come back!

He had the Rabies shot on 7/15/14
Heartworm test was negative 7/15/14 ( It hasn’t even been a year since he had the test done…do I really need to order another test so soon?)
He has had Bordetella shot on 7/14/14 and 7/16/14
    DHLP/PV on 7/15/14

    2 lepto shots -7/15/14
    DHPP Vaccine 4th- 7/14/14

When Dexter was at the Shelter, they gave him all of these. I didn’t adopted him until Aug. He is not due for shots until 7/15/15 and 7/14/15

When it comes to shots, I have no idea. I do know…that the Rabies shot…it’s the law he has to get them. I do know, that for boarding like doggy day care… He has to be updated on the Bordetella Vaccines.

I found some online on Amazon. I will try them out. Dexter is really picky on his treats, and I have had to throw a ton away because he ended up not touching them. Maybe he will like these better.

Okay! The Vet said he needed a Lepto, DHPP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccine.. The only one I have ever heard of was Rabies :/ So I have no idea if he really needs those vaccines… Can the vet turn him down for check ups if he isn’t updated on those shots?

As for the Heart worm test and Blood profile test, he has an appointment tomorrow at 10am for it. I was just curious because I never had or tested a dog yearly for it.

I’m so worried, this never happened to a Dog that I ever had before! He isn’t sick or anything. I just took him about again and he pooped again (stool still is normal) and only one of those little suckers was there! I took a picture…only to show Vet if I need too.

What should I do now? Is it serious? I read online that they need to be seen by a vet for treatment asap.

    I found this?

Should I try this medication or vet?

As for fleas, he did have like 3 but I gave him flea baths and I have been checking him and can’t find anymore fleas. This was a while ago.

Not, not since….This just happened not too long ago. He will go again tonight and I was going to check then… Sorry the picture is blurry.

And, I tried to look around the anus and didn’t see any thing that looked like worms or anything. He doesn’t seem itchy down there either.

If he doesn’t like the second link bag, I will probably toss it and not buy anymore Dentley treats. I could try tonight to give him one of the second link treats to see if he will touch it. Not sure yet.

I am not sure about India either. I just tend to avoid treats that are made or from China because they have had terrible reviews and making the Dog’s sick. I found some USA made treats at Walmart but I am not sure about them. Nudges and Full moon both are made in the USA and sold at Walmart. I guess, I will look at them next time.

There wasn’t a lot of treats in the first bag, (first link)… I will probably finish the bag but I know I won’t buy anymore. I have not tried to give him any of the other one. (second link). In the first link, I do not like how they are really small so I probably won’t finish the bag. They have tiny ones in there and he has a big mouth. :/

Yeah, I gave him one yesterday and today…and so far! He is not sick or anything. I am just a little hesitant on them. I know too much of anything will upset the stomach so that is why with treats you are not suppose to give them a lot because too much can upset their stomachs. It says their made in India, and it says it was distributed from AZ. I have no idea if it was from China or what not.

I am not sure if he has wheat sensitivities. I do know anything corn does not settle well with him. So far, He is doing really well with Chicken and Brown rice dry food by Pure balance and had no unwanted accidents or smelly gas or anything like that. I recently started to transition Pure Balance Grain Free Bison and Pea dry food mixed in with the other food and he is still doing really well! Personally, I think he likes the Bison better than the Chicken one. lol But, I wanted to try the Grain free/different flavor because I heard Rotation is a good thing. He also does well on the wet food but I switch it up with different flavors.

I just have regular all purpose flour. I am not sure if that flour would be safe or settle well. He has a sensitive stomach sometimes.

I know there is an natural food store near by I will look there.. I never heard of Garbanzo Bean flour before.. I will look at Walmart online to see if they might have it in store. If not, try the natural food store. Thanks πŸ™‚ I will make them this weekend.

Also, were can I get plain pumpkin? I tried Walmart…but all I could find was the already seasoned one :/ Maybe, I wasn’t looking in the right spot. I am going shopping this weekend.

I just saw that… I will try that recipe! I recently got more canned food because I usually mix it in with his food or give him a little for a treat. You used safflower oil I think? I don’t have… all I have a veggie and cresco and I don’t think that is safe. Can you get that at Walmart?

What about plain yogurt? Is that good and healthy? Just a little bit added to their dog food.

I was shopping at Walmart and some of there treats do have corn in them :/ I didn’t get the ones that do have corn in it, I got the ones without it because it looked better but honestly I had no idea how good they were because I know nothing about ingredients. I did try to give him one before I posted it on here…and he didn’t even eat it nor touched it so I assumed something wasn’t right or he didn’t like it lol

I tossed them in the trash and will look more better ones πŸ™‚

    Thanks πŸ™‚

I currently use Pure Balance and they have grain free dog food! They have Bison and pea recipe and they also have salmon and pea recipe. It’s sold at Walmart and not too expensive either. I am not sure if Salmon and pea recipe is sweet potato free and pumpkin free… I am pretty sure it doesn’t have any of that in it by looking at it. However, I know for a fact that the Bison and Pea Grain free doesn’t have it in it because I am currently using that for my pup and he loves it!

It’s okay πŸ™‚ I am using Pure Balance right now.. I was looking at another brand… Dreambone because it said it has no wheat, corn or soy… But, I also don’t want to give him something that is bad and will harm him.
