I was just in this situation too. Not fun! It sounds like you’re feeding your little ones high quality stuff. Be careful with the wet foods… many of them contain artificial preservatives like potassium sorbate, so be sure to read the label.

Have you happened to try any food toppers yet? Maybe that will help?

I’m interested to know how this turned out too. We recently ran into the same issue with our pup. I’m happy to say we did find something that worked- it’s a soft/chewy dog food that smells like a dog treat. Here’s what we bought in case it helps anyone else: Yumwoof Natural Pet Food.

The problem with corn is that it’s a high glycemic carbohydrate. Dogs are biological carnivores and still basically have the same DNA as wolves. While dogs can handle 20-30% of their diets being carbohydrates without a problem, does it really make sense that a high glycemic carb would be the ideal source of nutrition for canines?

High glycemic carbs are the primary cause of diabetes in humans, and it only follows that dogs would have a similar outcome (especially since they’re carnivores).

Have you tried feeding your dog coconut oil? Here’s an article that talks about some of the benefits, and it includes a specific study that was done on dogs with epilepsy.

Yumwoof Perfect Kibble is what you want to try. They make a soft and chewy kibble.

Freshpet needs to be refrigerated, whereas Yumwoof does not. My husband and I switched our dog to Yumwoof when he started getting old. He absolutely loves it!

The ingredients are really good, which is why we bought it. Only 14 ingredients, grain free, soy free…nothing bad. The first ingredient is fresh chicken, and it has lots of coconut oil which is really good for older dogs too.

We bought it on http://www.yumwoof.com. Hope that helps!
