I was given my first pet when I was 27; a pit/lab/mix named Toby, who is now 4. He breeded with a pit/weimerinar and gave me my second dog, Rhi, who is two years old as of August 2013, and finally, I found and kept a stray, Midnight, who will be a year in December 2013. Though not *my* dog, I watched Rhi's brother Rex die of unknown poisioning in my arms back in March 2013. RIP to my chocolate boy!!! From what pet trainers and vets have told me, I take care of my dogs really well based on the fact I simply care so much about them and use my common sense, but I am always looking for ways to improve my pets' lives be it thru finding better ways to feed, or how to train/break of X or Y behavior, and so I hope to be spending a lot of time on these forums gleaning advice from those of you who've had dogs for years and years now. And maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll have something to add value myself here and there, or at least that's my hope. You can feel free to contact me through email via gmail at jesika91911 if you want to take a conversation from high-level in the threads to more in-depth one-on-one. I.E. exchanging pics of our pups, or helpful files like lists of books every pet owner should read, etc etc...
