    Well I would suggest for you to consult with your vet only, as you are saying your dog may have kidney problems and other diets may cause more problems, so please consult with your vet only on what you should give.

    Thanks to all for your valuable suggestions, in fact I too am dealing with the same issue with my dog, will definitely try these things which you guys have suggested.
