I had used Blue Buffalo for several years. Nearly two years ago I bought a new bag of what I had been using. BOTH dogs got very sick, throwing up and diarrhea, also lethargic. I immediately knew nothing had changed other than their dog food. After vet visits and I got them well, I contacted Blue Buffalo. Blue Buffalo’s indignation alone was upsetting. They said, just to refund the cost of the 30# bag of dog food, I would need to furnish them complete blood test of both my dogs and a letter from the veterinarian saying that it was specifically the Blue Buffalo that made my dogs sick and specifically what they were diagnosed with connected to the dog food.
Their non-concern, attitude and response alone were enough for me to never use any of their products again; not to mention that I was so concerned about the health of my precious dogs that I feel are family.- This reply was modified 9 years, 1 month ago by AL D.
AL DMemberThanks,
A website that was mentioned:
http://www.consumeraffairs.com/pets/blue_buffalo.html
has a lot of new reviews and thought others might be interested.AL DMemberAL DMemberBlue Buffalo seem to have higher grades/stars than some of your EC foods. Why is it not an EC?
