I cannot say enough about chewy.com. Their prices are great and customer service was phenomenal! If you can’t get a food locally they are a great source.
Amy SMemberThere is a forum on the main forums page, one regarding nutrition and another on diet and health issues. You may want to look/post there. I have heard Dr. Tim’s is a good one for working dogs, and pinnacle has one too
Amy SMemberThere is an entire section devoted to large breed puppy. A great place to start is to type large breed puppy in the search feature under forums at the top of the page. Here is a forum topic link and also a link to a spreadsheet that has a bunch listed out by calcium content.

Amy SMemberDefinitely taking her off of whole earth farms. She has thrown up three times in the past week after eating it. I give her anything else and she is fine.
Amy SMemberWow Jackie B, thanks for the link. Merrick looks like a great company. Now to just decide about the fat content.
Amy SMemberWell now I don’t know what to do! Was just reading research on Bloat, and saw that the risk increases 100% in high risk breeds if one of the top 4 ingredients is fat. The 4th ingredient in Whole Earth is chicken fat, and I have a German Shepherd which is an at risk breed.
I am surprised to see very little discussion on bloat.
I am thinking about rotating Nutrisource (need to check prices) and Grandma Lucy’s with fresh meat. With 2 large breed dogs I just can’t afford the raw route, and husband gets the willies lol. -
