Despite the fact that Michael Jordan graces the front cover, NBA 2K23 couldn’t be more incorrect about how excellent the players from the current Chicago Bulls are.2K has four current Bulls players who are ranked amongst the top 100 players within the game. DeRozan and LaVine have their 19th and 23rd spots respectively. Nikola Vucevic is ranked No. 59. and Lonzo Ball is as the No. 73. Unexpectedly, Andre Drummond is rated as Chicago’s fifth-best player , and just barely misses the cut.
After that, the roster’s ratings in general are in a state of disarray. The Bulls backcourt has taken the brunt of the damage, as Alex Caruso, Coby White and Dosunmu have all been sacked one spot when the common reason suggests that they’ll improve next season. Dosunmu’s 76 overall rating is especially obscene, considering that he was recently named All-Rookie. A fellow All-Rookie Second Team guard Josh Giddey posted roughly equal statistics to Dosunmu (and was outclassed by Ayo in head-to-head matchups) as a starter but was awarded a much higher 82 overall rating.
Rookie Dalen Terry is also awarded a ridiculous overall rating, which puts him far below the likes that of the former Bulls Matt Thomas, Denzel Valentine, Troy Brown Jr. as well as Tomas Satoransky. Three of them aren’t even on an NBA roster while the fourth is only a minimum “prove the idea” contract that will shortly join the others when he’s not able to improve to the occasion.
I’m not expecting Terry to come out to ignite things in the near future, but placing Dalen in the middle of these players is very absurd, all things considered.As all things considered, 2K has rated the Chicago Bulls in “Tier 2”, which means they aren’t among the league’s top 10 teams. However, the Lakers are one of the 10 teams that are in Tier 1. in spite of the fact that their roster construction has been over the last two years.
