My dog is by no means a picky eater. I have fed him well over 20 different brands of kibble and canned recipes and several dehydrated foods over the past year. I found two foods he does not care for, one was a kibble and the other is THK.
I agree it does not smell meaty. I am finishing off a small box now and haven’t had to mix it with anything yet. He eats slowly and it takes him twice as long to eat his meal when I feed THK. I caught his eye a few times when he was eating it and he looked at me like “not this again.” lol I am glad I tried it and also glad it was just a trial box!
It’s a good thing Bobby is not a judge of whether or not a food is palatable, he would give two paws up to pretty much any food you would put in front of him. 😉
