To Shannelnecole, Thank you so much for posting this information! My dog has allergies and I was just about to go and buy the potato & duck formula by Natural Balance. I thought that I would check the reviews first and I am so glad that I did. I will not buy any Natural Balance products.

Hi Verthib,

The Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Fish is already included under my review of Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diets.

Unless they can publicly state that the fish meal is ethoxyquin free, I cannot remove these warnings form my reviews.

However, it is my understanding that some of the Natural Balance product line is manufactured by Diamond Pet. And according to that company, all their current products are all ethoxyquin free.

Wish I could tell you more.

Hi Mike, Do you plan to review/rate Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Fish? That is what we are currently feeding, for the moment. Also, I called them, and they confirmed that they do not use ethoxyquin, and they choose suppliers that do not use it as well. However, they would not put that in writing in an email to me.

Hi, I have a 6yr old overweight lab. Have tried weight loss foods, nothing. We put her on Avoderm, couldn't stand the flatulence smell. Any suggestions?

Hi, I tried Blue Buffalo for my five month old lab but it didn't agree with her at all. She had loose stools and diarrhea the entire time she was on it. I'm just now finding out that loose stools, hair loss, and excessive sleeping are becoming common side effects for many dogs on the brand. I switched my lab to Natural Balance, limited ingredients. Hopefully this will be better for her.
